Having my wedding anniversary fall so close to Sweetest Day was about as dumb an idea as I ever had. I ordered a dozen roses last night and they were about 100 times the normal price. Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I KNOW they are WAY more this week than normal. Frickin' florists - I can't even blame George Bush for this one. But I'll work on it.
I also made dinner and show reservations to see this Saturday night.
No, I'm not a Rosemary Clooney fan. Honestly can't even hum one little bit of one song. But I know my wife's musical tastes live partly in that era because her Mom was a 40s-50's night club singer, and I love anything theatre, so it works.
Today is the actual anniversary (21 years). The fact that it falls on the 13th is not coincidental, we planned it that way. Tempt fate, ya know? But we can't do anything tonight due to having to watch a nephew (his mother still hasn't gotten past my brother-in-law almost baking him in the car) and parent-teacher conferences.

It's inconsequential. More importantly, how's N?

Happy A, R and wife :)
Noah is well - he's crabby and moving into the terrible two's nice and early. The MRI must not have shown anything too serious as we haven't heard anything yet. Seeing the doctor next week - specialist in 6 months and I haven't put him on the phenobarbitol.

Know that you and Noah both are in my thoughts pretty regularly and I'm hoping everything turns out for the better.

He always was the more mild-mannered artist type. They always get picked on.
Good luck on all of that, and the pasta party!
And man, a half-marathon. That's pretty darn impressive.

I haven't even started training for the half - but if I make it I will be proud. Thank you.
